This year on March 17 was a very special day in Zeneta.
There is a video of a Black Theatre Representation made by children in the 3rd year of the CEIP “Sagrado Corazón” of Zeneta to celebrate Saint Patrick´s day. After the representation, the children could taste typical products of Ireland , where the kings were blueberries, of course.
For the celebration of this special day, the school was filled with Shamrock, Leprenchauns and other Irish symbols made by children themselves, and lots of Celtic music. During that week, the religion teacher was commissioned to tell us the legend of St. Patrick, and Science teachers explained to us many things of this rainy and green country.
The text of the play was written by the children in English lessons. "I´m a little Leprenchaun" is made with the technique of black theatre. The song was written by the music teacher, who dedicated his classes to rehearse the song with the children.
It was a hard work but a beautiful one.
I hope you enjoy it ¡¡¡¡¡
